Common use of Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT Clause in Contracts

Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT. An MDT works together with the child in xxxxxx care and the child’s family to develop a case service plan and coordinate services. It is the central point for decision making during the life of a case. The MCO must participate in the MDT process at the request of the CPS worker, judge, or the MDT itself. The MCO need not participate in every MDT, but is expected to serve as a resource to caseworkers to help in facilitating the process if needed, to ensure the enrollee is receiving the most appropriate, effective treatment options.
