Common use of Modification of PHI Clause in Contracts

Modification of PHI. Except as permitted under section 3.10.2 below, BUSINESS ASSOCIATE shall not modify any existing data to which it is granted access other than to correct errors, or derive new data from such existing data. BUSINESS ASSOCIATE shall record any modification of data and retain such record for a period of seven (7) years.
