The Miscellaneous Deductions clause defines which additional expenses or costs, not specifically addressed elsewhere in the agreement, may be deducted from payments or amounts owed. In practice, this clause might cover items such as administrative fees, minor service charges, or other incidental costs that arise during the course of the contractual relationship. Its core function is to clarify and limit the types of extra deductions that can be made, thereby preventing disputes over unexpected or ambiguous charges.
Miscellaneous Deductions. The Employer agrees to provide, upon receipt of authorization from the eligible employee, payroll deductions from the employee's salary for: Association membership dues, insurance plans, tax-sheltered annuities, or other plans provided that such deductions are in accordance with state law, federal law, OFM regulations, and provided that any plan not offered to employees by the State of Washington have a minimum of six (6) subscribers. The Employer shall also make, when authorized by employees, deductions to a political action committee provided at least twenty five (25) employees have indicated a desire to have such deductions.
Miscellaneous Deductions. Upon appropriate written authorization from the unit member, the District shall deduct from the salary of any unit member and make appropriate remittance for annuities, credit union, saving bonds, charitable donations or any other plans or programs jointly approved by the Association and the District. The Association and District agree to provide each other any information needed to fulfill the provisions of this Article.

1. Tax Deferred Annuity Plans
2. Credit Association Savings Plans
3. Disability Income Plans
4. Ordinary Life Policies

Miscellaneous Deductions. The City shall continue to make deductions as requested by employees for U.S. Savings Bonds, Deferred Compensation, Credit Bargaining Unit and United Way, to the extent these programs continue to be made available to all other City employees.

Miscellaneous Deductions. The Treasurer is permitted, with the authorization of the bargaining unit member, to withhold portions of the bargaining unit member’s salary for any or all of the following:
(1) the Franklin County School Employees Federal Credit Union, (2) the Whitehall Employee’s Federal Credit Union, (3) the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, (4) the State Teachers Retirement System for the repurchase of service credit, (5) the South-Western Education Foundation, or (6) Ohio Deferred Compensation.
Miscellaneous Deductions. 1. Tax sheltered annuities shall be deducted equally from twenty-four (24) pay checks.
2. United Way shall be deducted equally from twenty (20) pay checks.
3. Additional insurance coverage at the employee’s expense shall be deducted equally from twenty-four (24) pay checks.
4. FCPE shall be deducted equally from each pay check.
5. The Treasurer will deduct for other reasons upon receipt of at least five requests for that type of deduction. Once at least five (5) employees no longer want the deduction, it will be stopped.
