The Minimum Staffing Standards clause sets a baseline requirement for the number and qualifications of personnel that must be maintained by a party, typically in a service or employment context. This clause outlines specific roles, skill levels, or headcounts that must be present at all times, such as mandating a certain number of licensed professionals on duty during operating hours. Minimum Staffing Standards. Management will schedule a minimum of four (4) bargaining unit members between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 AM every day. Management will schedule a minimum of three (3) bargaining unit members between the hours of 3:00 AM and 10:00 AM every day. Minimum Staffing Standards. An FBO offering any of the services listed herein shall have at a minimum two (2) employees (with ratings appropriate to the work to be performed) on-site during normal business hours. At all other times, the FBO shall have one (1) person available, on call, to respond to customer inquiries and airport emergencies. In addition, minimum service, management and staffing standards for the activities listed above shall be provided. Multiple responsibilities may be assigned to personnel to meet staffing requirements for required activities.
Minimum Staffing Standards. Staffing of all fire apparatus will be based on accepted safe operating procedures. The following shall be considered staffing minimums: three employees consisting of a company officer, engineer, and firefighter per engine/truck, and two (2) employees per medical unit. Assignment of an employee to act in the position of Battalion Chief shall not cause the staffing of any apparatus to be below minimum staffing standards.
A. Specialty Team Assignments
1. Specialty Team members perform the same duties as other suppression members; however, they are also tasked with specific duties designed to enhance operational effectiveness and are required to perform more advanced technical skills.
2. This Article does not preclude Management from establishing additional programs, nor from discontinuing existing Specialty Team programs.
3. In order to provide and maintain the highest standards for each Specialty Team, a policy subject to the Seek and Consider process will be developed, in conjunction with the Operations Deputy Chief or their designee.
a. The policy is intended to govern the process of adding or removing members to or from the Specialty Teams.
b. The policy will include any credentialing and training requirements expected of Team members.
Minimum Staffing Standards. Minimum staffing standards shall be as follows, regardless of whether staff is employed or subcontracted:
a. The PDHP must ensure primary care dentists sufficient to ensure adequate accessibility to all primary care services in accordance with the enrolled beneficiaries’ ages.
b. The PDHP’s staff of dentists and dental hygienists must each hold a valid and active license to practice dentistry or dental hygiene pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 466, F.S.
c. The PDHP’s staff shall include general practice dentists or dentists who meet all education and training criteria for general dentistry, at a number equal to a ratio of one full time equivalent (FTE) general practice dentist per 1,500 enrollees (includes Medicaid, commercial, and fee-for-service patients). The general dentists are to be distributed for availability within thirty minutes typical travel time for all enrolled beneficiaries throughout the geographic area.
d. The PDHP’s staff shall include board certified pediatric dentists or pediatric dentists who meet all education and training criteria for board certification at a rate of 1 pediatric dentist to every 12,000 members. The pediatric dentists are to be distributed for availability within 30-minute typical travel time for all enrolled beneficiaries throughout the geographic area. At least two board certified or board eligible pediatric dentists must provide the experience and office facilities necessary to accommodate and treat children with special needs.
e. The PDHP’s staff shall include at least two board certified endodontic specialists or two who meet all education and training criteria for board certification. The endodontic specialists are to be distributed for availability within a reasonable amount of travel time for all enrolled beneficiaries throughout the geographic area.
f. The PDHP’s staff shall include at least two board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons or two who meet all education and training criteria for board certification. The oral and maxillofacial surgeons are to be distributed for availability within a reasonable amount of travel time for all enrolled beneficiaries throughout the geographic area.
g. The PDHP’s staff shall include at least two board certified orthodontists or two who meet all education and training criteria for board certification. The orthodontists are to be distributed for availability within a reasonable amount of travel time for all enrolled beneficiaries throughout the geographic area.
