MINIMUM GUARANTEES. 31 REMOTE ASSIST 1 a. The minimum guarantee for a Remote Assist SHALL APPLY to any 2 authorized Remote Assist received within the eight-hour period 3 prior to the start of the normal scheduled work hours regardless of 4 whether or not the employee is scheduled to work the following day 5 and regardless of the duration of the call. 6 b. The minimum guarantee SHALL APPLY to Remote Assist calls 7 (authorized or not) received greater than eight hours prior to the 8 start of the normal scheduled work hours provided the call exceeds 9 seven (7) minutes. 10 c. The minimum guarantee for Remote Assist SHALL NOT apply to 11 any call (authorized or not) received greater than eight hours prior 12 to the start of the normal scheduled work hours provided the call is 13 of seven (7) minutes or less duration. 14 d. Once the minimum guarantee applies, employees may be called 15 (by telephone or computer) more than one time and all work 16 performed within the duration of this minimum guarantee shall still 17 be considered one (1) Remote Assist.
