Minimum Break between Shifts. (a) Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift.
Minimum Break between Shifts. 21.4.1 The roster for all Employees, other than Casual Employees, will provide for a minimum 10-hour break between the finish of ordinary hours of work on one (1) day and the commencement of ordinary hours of work on the following day.

A penal rate shall be payable at half the Ordinary Hourly Rate of pay as follows: • Where an Employee is requested by their salaried manager and subsequently agrees to start work before the Employee has completed an interval of at least 9 consecutive hours rest from his/her/their previous finishing time. Where possible, the confirmation of the request should be in writing including by text and/or email. • This penal rate ceases at the end of the shift worked immediately after the 9 hour break has not occurred.
Minimum Break between Shifts. Every endeavour will be made to provide an employee with a 10 hour break between shifts. An employee directed to recommence ordinary hours work without a 10 hour break will receive the ordinary rate of pay plus 100% for all time worked until such time as a break of not less than 10 hours has been received.
Minimum Break between Shifts. An Employee will not be requested to work two consecutive shifts of 12 hours where the break between such shifts is less than 10 hours. This clause does not apply to the rostering of broken shifts on one day.
