Common use of Merit Raises Clause in Contracts

Merit Raises. The Union recognizes this contract to be the minimum standards 2 of employment. This contract should not be construed to limit management’s 3 right to reward an individual nurse’s performance over and above the prescribed 4 conditions called for in this Agreement.
