Common use of Mentor Training Clause in Contracts

Mentor Training. Mentors shall be provided with the following: 1. An orientation to mentor responsibilities as provided by the State of Ohio by the Lead Mentor; 2. Training in knowledge and skills necessary to perform Mentor responsibilities, i.e., RE, IM and Facilitator Training or “other research-based” mentor training programs. 3. Opportunities to consult with and otherwise assist the assigned RE. 4. With Superintendent or designee approval, substitute teachers may be provided on an as-needed basis for Mentors to perform duties such as classroom observations of RE teachers.
