MECHANICAL VENTILATION. The requirement for mechanical ventilation is to ensure that adequate air movement is achieved to reduce worker exposure to toxic metals to as low as feasible, and to enhance visibility. Design the system with proper exhaust ports or plenums, adequately sized ductwork, adequately sized discharge fans and air cleaning devices (dust collectors) and properly sized and distributed make-up air points. Natural ventilation does not require the use of mechanical equipment for moving dust and debris through the work area. It relies on natural air flow patterns, if any, through the containment.
MECHANICAL VENTILATION. In lieu of openable windows, doors, or other devices for natural ventilation, adequate ventilation may be a system of mechanical ventilation which provides not less than two (2) air changes per hour in all habitable rooms and/or bathrooms or toilet compartments. No mechanical exhaust system, exhausting vapors, gases or odors shall be discharged into an interior roof area, crawl space or cellar unless such interior roof area, crawl space, or cellar is adequately vented to the outside. Any kitchen or kitchenette lacking natural ventilation shall be equipped with a system of mechanical ventilation which provides at least two (2) air changes per hour in the room. The system shall exhaust and discharge directly to outside air.
MECHANICAL VENTILATION. Contractor is responsible for ensuring that the house meets BPI standards for fresh air ventilation.

  • Ventilation Where noxious or poisonous gases may accumulate, the City shall provide proper protection and ventilation. Proper lighting and ventilation shall be provided for all enclosed working spaces. All work in enclosed and confined spaces shall be performed in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local regulations. Spray painting shall be done only by qualified painters.

  • Heating The Hirer shall ensure that no unauthorised heating appliances shall be used on the premises when open to the public without the consent of the management committee. Portable Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) heating appliances shall not be used.

  • Lighting A system of fixtures providing or controlling the light sources used on or near the airport or within the airport buildings. The field lighting includes all luminous signals, markers, floodlights, and illuminating devices used on or near the airport or to aid in the operation of aircraft landing at, taking off from, or taxiing on the airport surface.

  • HVAC A. Heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment will be provided with sufficient capacity to accommodate a maximum population density of one (1) person per one hundred fifty (150) square feet of useable floor area served, and a combined lighting and standard electrical load of 3.0 xxxxx per square foot of useable floor area. In the event Tenant introduces into the Premises personnel or equipment which overloads the system’s ability to adequately perform its proper functions, Landlord shall so notify Tenant in writing and supplementary system(s) may be required and installed by Landlord at Tenant’s expense, if within fifteen (15) days Tenant has not modified its use so as not to cause such overload. Operating criteria of the basic system shall not be less than the following:

  • Plumbing fixtures and appliances shall be used only for the purposes for which designed, and no sweepings, rubbish, rags or other unsuitable material shall be thrown or deposited therein. Damage resulting to any such fixtures or appliances from misuse by a tenant or its agents, employees or invitees, shall be paid by such tenant.

  • Electrical Provide drawings for the following systems:

  • Mechanical a. Heating and cooling load calculations as required and major duct or pipe runs sized to interface with structural.

  • Mechanical Breakdowns 15.1 Any mechanical problems associated with the Vehicle must be reported to Apollo as soon as possible in order to give Apollo the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental period. Equipment failure must also be reported to Apollo.

  • Cheating Cheating is prohibited, and will result in immediate action and termination without compensation.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)
