The Meal Time Length clause defines the duration of meal breaks that must be provided to employees during their work shifts. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum length of time, such as 30 or 60 minutes, and may outline whether the break is paid or unpaid, as well as any conditions for splitting or combining meal periods. Meal Time Length. In no case will meal breaks be permitted to exceed one (1) hour, nor can they be taken at the beginning or end of a work schedule.

  • Boxing Day If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Additional Time If because of events beyond the Design Professional’s reasonable control, it is not able to meet the specified time period, then it should be entitled to ask the Owner for additional time, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.
