Common use of MEAL ENTITLEMENT Clause in Contracts

MEAL ENTITLEMENT. 39.01 Employees are allowed an amount of food and drink for personal consumption during their shifts, to be paid for by the employee through an automatic payroll deduction of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50), including HST, each shift effective date of ratification. A list of excluded food and drink items will be posted on the bulletin board. This Meal Allowance may be discontinued by the Employer at any time.
