Master’s Plus Columns Clause Samples
Master’s Plus Columns. Individuals who have obtained a Master’s Equivalency or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university are eligible to move to the M+12, M+24, M+36, M+48, and earned doctorate columns. In order for credits to count toward columnar movement, they must be taken after the date the Master’s degree was awarded or after July 1, 2002, for Master’s Equivalency and they must be college level courses or in-service credits from Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) or an Intermediate Unit (IU) in the field of teaching or related to individual’s teaching competency. No credit will be granted for any course that is not completed. A grade of “B” or above must be obtained in order to count for columnar movement. No movement will be forthcoming until official transcripts are furnished by the employee to the school district. Placement applied for after April 1, will not take effect until the following year.
