Mandatory break Clause Samples
A Mandatory Break clause requires that employees or parties involved take a specified period of rest or pause during work or contractual activities. Typically, this clause outlines the minimum duration and timing of breaks, such as a 30-minute lunch break after a set number of working hours, and may specify whether the break is paid or unpaid. Its core practical function is to ensure compliance with labor regulations, promote health and safety, and prevent fatigue by mandating regular intervals of rest.
