Common use of Management Hours Clause in Contracts

Management Hours. The parties recognize that the demands of the position will require the Assistant Superintendent to average more than eight (8) hours a day and/or more than forty (40) hours per week. The parties agree that the Assistant Superintendent shall not be entitled to overtime compensation or compensatory time off. It is also understood that there will be times when the demands of the position do not require the presence of the Assistant Superintendent during the normal work week. The Assistant Superintendent shall maintain a work schedule which is sufficient to adequately, efficiently, and effectively perform the duties of the position. Unless otherwise directed by the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent may be absent from duty during normal work hours prescribed for other personnel.
