Common use of Making False Claims Clause in Contracts

Making False Claims. Any Bargaining Unit employee who makes an accident report (or reports) concerning the employee’s condition following an on-the-job accident or illness which, in the District’s discretion, is false, in whole or in part, or which misrepresents any material fact, is subject to discipline up to and including immediate discharge. The determination as to the degree of discipline shall be in the District’s discretion, consistent with the severity of the employee’s conduct.
