Lunch Duty. If teachers are assigned to lunch room duty, they will be given extra duty pay equaling that allowed for non-professional help. It is agreed that certified staff members will be allowed a minimum of thirty (30) minutes guaranteed to be duty free between the hours of 10:45 a.m. and 1:22 p.m. The lunch break for certified staff will not be used for the escort of students to and from the lunchroom or any other work related business. There will be a minimum of two (2) supervisory personnel employed for each lunch period. The supervisors will have direct supervision of the lunchroom and direct supervision of activities when students leave the lunchroom during the 30-minute lunch period. The supervision of all recesses will be assigned by the building principal.
