Log Branding. The PURCHASER as required by the Timber Sale Officer shall identify all timber by making a xxxx with a brand provided by the STATE in a conspicuous place on the end of each log or piece of timber prior to removal from the sale area. Prior approval must be obtained in writing from the Sale Officer regarding any changes in the brand or branding procedure.
