LOBBYING ACT. 29.1 The Proponent shall ensure that any person lobbying on behalf of the Proponent is registered pursuant to the Lobbying Act and that the fees paid to the lobbyist are not to be related to the value of the financial contribution pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.

LOBBYING ACT. 32.1 The Network and Network Host declare that any person lobbying on its behalf to obtain funding is registered, and in all other respects is in compliance with the Lobbying Act.
LOBBYING ACT. The Organization declares and guarantees that any person who has been lobbying on its behalf to obtain the funding that is the subject of the Agreement and who is required to be registered pursuant to the Lobbying Act was registered pursuant to that Act at the time the lobbying occurred.
LOBBYING ACT. The BL-Network declares that and any person lobbying on its behalf to obtain funding is in compliance with the Lobbying Act.
LOBBYING ACT. The Recipient represents and warrants that any person that has lobbied, or who lobbies on its behalf to obtain the Agreement, or any benefit thereunder, is in compliance with the Lobbying Act.

  • Privacy Act If performance involves design, development or operation of a system of records on individuals, this Agreement incorporates by reference FAR 52.224-1 Privacy Act Notification (Apr 1984) and FAR 52.224-2 Privacy Act (Apr 1984).

  • Lobbying In accordance with sections 11.062 and 216.347, F.S., Contract funds are not to be used for the purpose of lobbying the Legislature, the judicial branch, or the Department. Pursuant to section 287.058(6), F.S., the Contract does not prohibit the Contractor from lobbying the executive or legislative branch concerning the scope of services, performance, term, or compensation regarding the Contract after the Contract is executed and during the Contract term.

  • Data Protection Act 7.1.1 The Supplier shall (and shall procure that its entire Staff) comply with any notification requirements under the DPA and both Parties will duly observe all their obligations under the DPA which arise in connection with the Contract.

  • Anti-Lobbying Subrecipient certifies that it will comply with federal law (31 U.S.C. 1352) and regulations found at 24 CFR Part 87, which provide that:

  • Lobbying and Integrity Customers shall ensure compliance with Section 11.062, FS and Section 216.347, FS.The Contractor shall not, in connection with this or any other agreement with the State, directly or indirectly (1) offer, confer, or agree to confer any pecuniary benefit on anyone as consideration for any State officer or employee’s decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, other exercise of discretion, or violation of a known legal duty, or (2) offer, give, or agree to give to anyone any gratuity for the benefit of, or at the direction or request of, any State officer or employee. For purposes of clause (2), “gratuity” means any payment of more than nominal monetary value in the form of cash, travel, entertainment, gifts, meals, lodging, loans, subscriptions, advances, deposits of money, services, employment, or contracts of any kind. Upon request of the Customer’s Inspector General, or other authorized State official, the Contractor shall provide any type of information the Inspector General deems relevant to the Contractor’s integrity or responsibility. Such information may include, but shall not be limited to, the Contractor’s business or financial records, documents, or files of any type or form that refer to or relate to the Contract. The Contractor shall retain such records for the longer of (1) three years after the expiration of the Contract or (2) the period required by the General Records Schedules maintained by the Florida Department of State (available at: xxxx://xxxx.xxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/barm/genschedules/gensched.htm). The Contractor agrees to reimburse the State for the reasonable costs of investigation incurred by the Inspector General or other authorized State official for investigations of the Contractor’s compliance with the terms of this or any other agreement between the Contractor and the State which results in the suspension or debarment of the Contractor. Such costs shall include, but shall not be limited to: salaries of investigators, including overtime; travel and lodging expenses; and expert witness and documentary fees. The Contractor shall not be responsible for any costs of investigations that do not result in the Contractor’s suspension or debarment.

  • Data Protection and Privacy: Protected Health Information Party shall maintain the privacy and security of all individually identifiable health information acquired by or provided to it as a part of the performance of this Agreement. Party shall follow federal and state law relating to privacy and security of individually identifiable health information as applicable, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its federal regulations.

  • National Environmental Policy Act All subrecipients must comply with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq., and the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Regulations (40 C.F.R. Parts 1500-1508) for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of NEPA, which requires Subrecipients to use all practicable means within their authority, and consistent with other essential considerations of national policy, to create and maintain conditions under which people and nature can exist in productive harmony and fulfill the social, economic, and other needs of present and future generations of Americans.

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (a) If the Contactor is a Business Associate under the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), as noted in this Contract, the Contractor must comply with all terms and conditions of this Section of the Contract. If the Contractor is not a Business Associate under HIPAA, this Section of the Contract does not apply to the Contractor for this Contract.
