Liquidated Damages for Improper Operation of the Transfer Station. The parties agree that the County will suffer damage and injury from the failure of the Contractor to conduct operations in a manner sufficient to prevent the backlog of waste or storage of waste within the premises for periods in excess of 24 hours. Such damage and injury is not readily calculable and the parties hereby agree that the following liquidated damages shall be assessed against the Contractor for the events set forth below:
