Light Duty Work Assignments. While voluntarily performing in a light duty capacity, that time does not count against your 12 week FMLA allotment. In effect, your right to restoration is held in abeyance during the period of time that you are performing in a light duty capacity (or until the end of the applicable 12 month FMLA leave year if longer).
