Library Hours. Usual library hours shall be 6 1/2 hours scheduled by the Superintendent to coincide with the student school day. Computer stations in the library shall remain open at times when the library is open.

Students, residents and commuters may pick up their mail/packages at the window. Students must have student ID’s in order to pick up any mail/packages. Students will receive notifications from the WBU mailroom, when packages are ready to be picked up. Mail services are included in the student services fee. Stamps, certified mail, FedEx and overnight express mailing services are available at an additional charge to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ students, faculty and staff. Window hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Mail boxes can be checked seven days a week when the building is unlocked. Incoming off-campus mail is placed in boxes by 2:00 p.m., if possible, Monday through Friday. On campus mail is distributed on a timely basis. Outgoing mail is picked up by the Walnut Ridge Post Office each afternoon around 2:00
Library Hours a. The week for Library employees shall normally consist of five (5) days of seven (7) hours duration each within a calendar week beginning on Monday and ending on Saturday for a total work week of thirty-five (35) hours. b. Sunday shall not be a regularly-scheduled work day. c. Library employees assigned to duty on Sunday shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 ½ ) times their regular hourly rate of pay for hours actually worked. When notice of cancellation of scheduled work is received by an employee after 6 PM on the Friday preceding Sunday work, such employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at straight time for having been available for such Sunday work. No Library employee shall be required to work on Sunday if notification or request to work is made after 6 PM on the Friday preceding the Sunday to be worked and said employee will not be discriminated against in any manner whatsoever for refusing to work on Sunday upon receiving such short notice or request. ▇. ▇▇▇▇ Library employees shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for hours worked in excess of thirty-five (35) hours per week but less than forty (40) hours per week. Said employees shall be compensated at a rate of one and one-half (1 1/2 ) times their regular hourly rate of pay for work in excess of forty (40) hours per week. Except to fill in for an absent employee or in the event of other unforeseen scheduling problems, Library employees shall not normally be required to work more than five (5) consecutive days. Compensatory time off for Saturday work shall be a full day rather than two (2) half days.
Library Hours. 1. Each full-time library employee shall work a thirty-five (35) hour week. 2. The library hours of operation shall be as follows: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday and Saturday The Library will be closed the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. 3. Substitutes: A substitute list may be started and maintained (these are not regular staff members). The Head Librarian may draw from the list, as he/she deems appropriate. 4. Library employees shall be assigned to new times of work on a voluntary basis, should there be no volunteers employees will be assigned on a rotating basis by inverse seniority.
