Common use of Level 2 Certification Clause in Contracts

Level 2 Certification. To be eligible for Level 2 Certification, a represented employee must have the ability to translate conversations and written materials in a non-English language designated in accordance with the methodology required by the Equal Access to Services Ordinance. Represented employees certified with Level 2 written translation skills shall be paid ninety ($90) dollars per pay period. A represented employee shall be paid for either Level 1 or Level 2 bilingual skills, and the bilingual pay described in this section and Section A shall not be pyramided.

To be eligible for Level 2 Certification, a represented employee must have the ability to translate conversations and written materials in a nonDepartment-designated and City-approved non- English language designated in accordance with the methodology required by the Equal Access to Services Ordinancelanguage.
