Common use of Lease Payment to Constitute a Current Expense of Lessee Clause in Contracts

Lease Payment to Constitute a Current Expense of Lessee. The Lessor and the Lessee understand and intend that the obligation of the Lessee to pay Lease Payments shall constitute a current expense of the Lessee and shall not in any way be construed to be a general obligation or other indebtedness of the Lessee in contravention of any applicable constitutional or statutory limitation or requirements concerning the creation of indebtedness by the Lessee. No provision of this Lease shall constitute a pledge of the general tax revenues, funds or monies of the Lessee.
