LEAD HANDS. The Employer may designate as Lead Hand Electricians employees who assist in the oversight and direction of work, who set the pace for and provide leadership to a crew. Lead Hands shall be paid one hundred and five percent (105%) of the Journeyperson rate. Electrician Apprentices shall be paid the following minimum rate: 1st Period 40% of JP rate/pension, plus 10% vacation pay, plus benefits/E&A/IF. 2nd Period 50% of JP rate/pension, plus 10% vacation pay, plus benefits/E&A/IF. 3rd Period 60% of JP rate/pension, plus 10% vacation pay, plus benefits/E&A/IF. 4th Period 70% of JP rate/pension, plus 10% vacation pay, plus benefits/E&A/IF. 5th Period 80% of JP rate/pension, plus 10% vacation pay, plus benefits/E&A/IF. For all apprentices, the hourly rate, vacation pay and pension contributions shall be scaled according to their applicable apprentice period.
