Common use of LAYOFF, RESIGNATION Clause in Contracts

LAYOFF, RESIGNATION. 3.6.1 The District agrees to give each employee who has been on the payroll more than (60) sixty working days at least two (2) weeks’ notice of intended layoff, and each employee shall give the District at least two (2) weeks’ notice of their intention to resign. 3.6.2 Layoffs of persons covered by this agreement shall be in reverse order of seniority. Recall of persons laid off by reason of a layoff shall be in reverse order of the layoff.
