Common use of Landlord’s Role Clause in Contracts

Landlord’s Role. The parties acknowledge that neither Landlord nor its managing agent is an architect or engineer, and that the Work will be designed and performed by independent architects, engineers and contractors. Landlord and its managing agent shall have no responsibility for construction means, methods or techniques or safety precautions in connection with the Work, and do not guarantee that the Plans or Work will be free from errors, omissions or defects, and shall have no liability therefor. In the event of such errors, omissions or defects, Landlord shall cooperate in any action Tenant desires to bring against such parties.
