Common use of Landlord Exculpation Clause in Contracts

Landlord Exculpation. It is expressly understood and agreed that notwithstanding anything in this Lease to the contrary, and notwithstanding any applicable law to the contrary, the liability of Landlord hereunder (including any successor landlord) and any recourse by Tenant against Landlord shall be limited solely and exclusively to the interest of Landlord in and to the Project and Building, and neither Landlord, nor any of its constituent partners, shall have any personal liability therefor, and Tenant hereby expressly waives and releases such personal liability on behalf of itself and all persons claiming by, through or under Tenant.

Landlord Exculpation. Nothing in this Section 14.5 shall be deemed to limit Tenant's recourse to any insurance or condemnation proceeds of the Building.

It is expressly understood Tenant hereby acknowledges and agreed that agrees that, notwithstanding anything in this Lease herein to the contrary, and notwithstanding contrary or any applicable law Legal Requirements to the contrary, the liability of Landlord and the Landlord Parties hereunder (including any successor landlord) and any recourse by Tenant against Landlord or the Landlord Parties shall be limited solely and exclusively to the Landlord’s interest of Landlord in and to the Project and BuildingProperty, and neither Landlord, Landlord nor any of its constituent partners, the Landlord Parties shall have any personal liability thereforthereof, and Tenant hereby expressly waives and releases such personal liability on behalf of itself and all persons claiming by, through or under Tenant.
