Common use of Key Characteristics Clause in Contracts

Key Characteristics. Employees at this level work autonomously. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures although this level may require expertise to resolve issues within a day-to-day environment for which there may not be clearly established procedures. Employees at this level may be required to check the work and/or provide guidance to colleagues at Level 1 and 2, and/or provide assistance to less experienced employees at the same level (as applicable). Employees appointed at this level require extensive knowledge and experience within their specific area of responsibility and will work autonomously.

Key Characteristics. Employees at this level work autonomouslymostly autonomously under general supervision.
