Common use of Judicial Council Badges Clause in Contracts

Judicial Council Badges. The Judicial Council will issue an identification badge to each person who is approved by the Judicial Council pursuant to this Background Checks provision 4.3 (“Judicial Council Screening and Approval Process”), bearing that person’s name and picture. The badge will indicate that the person is permitted to access the Restricted Areas. The Judicial Council will either (1) notify Contractor if an employee is approved, whereupon the Judicial Council will issue an identification badge for that person, or (2) provide an identification badge for the person to the Contractor, and Contractor will be responsible for issuing the identification badge to that person. All such persons must wear their identification badges in a readily-visible manner whenever they are in a Restricted Area. The Contractor will have a procedure in place to ensure that all badges are returned to the Judicial Council upon termination of an employee and completion of the Contract.
