Common use of Joints Clause in Contracts

Joints. a. Ductile iron pipe for below ground service shall have push-on or mechanical joints, unless otherwise required by the Town and shall conform to AWWA C151. b. Ductile iron pipe for above ground service shall have flanged joints unless otherwise required by the Town and shall conform to AWWA C115. c. Ductile iron pipe on piers shall have rigid restrained joints as recommended by the pipe manufacturer.
