JEC Maintenance Program. It is the intention of the parties to review the rating of all job descriptions over a 4-year period commencing January 1, 1998. Proposed maintenance adjustments should be referred to the bargaining committees so that they may be incorporated into the negotiation of the overall salary costs for the bargaining unit. If the JEC cannot reach agreement on a rating, the matter shall be referred to a single arbitrator who shall be jointly selected by both parties. The power of the arbitrator shall be limited to the matters in dispute as submitted. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding. Costs for arbitration shall be as stated in the Collective Agreement.
