INVOLVE. A high increase of participation of the stakeholder can be managed by involving the public in project processes via workshops, i.e. in the design of the mobility hub, in the description of visions for concrete projects, or as multipliers. Another option of increasing the awareness of the public is to collaborate with them. Therefor the stakeholders are highly involved within the actions, i.e. by taking up and implementing the ideas of the participants.

INVOLVE. The NEPA process has a federally required stakeholder engagement process, including public outreach and comment periods, which were adhered to during the study development. Arlington County led public engagement efforts and solicited public participation consistent with NEPA requirements as well as the Arlington County Six-Step Public Engagement Guide for Capital Projects. Public involvement was completed at various points throughout the study to align with the concurrence of the study’s Purpose and Need, the concurrence of the range of alternatives, the concurrence of the preferred alternative and the public release of the Environmental Assessment document. Recordings and transcripts of all public meetings, as well as the associated information materials and summaries of public feedback, are available on the Study’s web page. During the public release of the Environmental Assessment, a draft copy of the Programmatic Agreement was made available for public review and comment.

  • Conflict of Interests The beneficiary undertakes to take all the necessary measures to prevent any risk of conflicts of interests which could affect the impartial and objective performance of the agreement. Such conflict of interests could arise in particular as a result of economic interest, political or national affinity, family or emotional reasons, or any other shared interest. Any situation constituting or likely to lead to a conflict of interests during the performance of the agreement must be brought to the attention of the Commission, in writing, without delay. The beneficiary shall undertake to take whatever steps are necessary to rectify this situation at once. The Commission reserves the right to check that the measures taken are appropriate and may demand that the beneficiary take additional measures, if necessary, within a certain time.

  • Conflict of Interest No officer, member or employee of the Contractor or subcontractor, no member of the governing body of the Contractor, and no other public officials of the Contractor who exercise any functions or responsibilities in the review or Contractor approval of this Agreement, shall participate in any decision relating to this Agreement which affects his or her personal interest, or shall have any personal or pecuniary interest, direct or indirect, in this Agreement.

  • Conflict of Law In the event that any of the terms or conditions of this Agreement are contrary to or unenforceable by reason of any law or governmental decision, ruling or regulation, such terms or conditions shall be deemed to be severed from this Agreement, and the illegality or unenforceability thereof shall not in any manner affect or impair any other terms or conditions of this Agreement.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.

  • Conflict in Provisions To the extent that any provisions of this Article VIII shall conflict with the provisions of Articles IV, V and/or VII, the provisions of this Article VIII shall govern.
