Inventory upon Return. The premises that are the subject of the lease must be returned in clean and good conditions upon the last day of the lease (Art. 267 CO). The Lessor shall prepare an inventory of the premises being leased. This inventory is signed by both parties. The Lessor shall have the right to cause any damages noted to be repaired at the cost of the Lessee. The latter will also be responsible for any hidden damages that he has caused that were not noted when the premises in the lease are returned, inasmuch as these have been noted without any delay by the Lessor to the Lessee who is departing.
