Common use of Interpretive Rules Clause in Contracts

Interpretive Rules. In addition: (a) The words “hereof,” “herein,” and “hereunder” and words of like import used in this Agreement shall refer to this Agreement as a whole and not to any particular provision of this Agreement. (b) The captions and various headings in this Agreement are for convenience of reference only and do not describe or limit any provision of this Agreement. (c) References to Sections are to Sections of this Agreement unless otherwise specified. (d) Unless the context requires otherwise, words describing the singular number include the plural and vice versa, and words denoting any gender include all genders. (e) The words “include,” “includes” and “including” are deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation.” (f) References to any statute shall be deemed to refer to such statute as amended from time to time and any rules or regulations promulgated thereunder. (g) References to any agreement or contract are to that agreement or contract as amended, modified or supplemented from time to time in accordance with the terms hereof and thereof. (h) It is each party’s intention that this Agreement not be construed more strictly with respect to any party.
