Common use of Interpretation of principal and interest Clause in Contracts

Interpretation of principal and interest. Any reference in the Conditions to principal in respect of the Notes shall be deemed to include, as applicable: any additional amounts which may be payable with respect to principal under Condition 9; the Final Redemption Amount of the Notes; the Early Redemption Amount of the Notes; the Make-Whole Redemption Amount (if any) of the Notes; the Optional Redemption Amount(s) (if any) of the Notes; and any premium and any other amounts (other than interest) which may be payable by the Issuer under or in respect of the Notes. Any reference in the Conditions to interest in respect of the Notes shall be deemed to include, as applicable, any additional amounts which may be payable with respect to interest under Condition 9.

Any reference in the these Terms and Conditions to principal in respect of the Notes shall be deemed to include, as applicable: (i) any additional amounts which may be payable with respect to principal under Condition 98; (ii) the Final Redemption Amount of the Notes; (iii) the Early Redemption Amount of the Notes; the Make-Whole Redemption Amount (if anyiv) of the Notes; the Optional Redemption Amount(s) (if any) of the Notes; and (v) any premium and any other amounts (other than interest) which may be payable by the Issuer under or in respect of the Notes. Any reference in the these Terms and Conditions to interest in respect of the Notes shall be deemed to include, as applicable, any additional amounts which may be payable with respect to interest under Condition 98.
