Interpretation Act 1987. (a) Subject to the VPA, section 3, Part 2, and sections 36, 38 and 76 of the Interpretation Act 1987 govern the interpretation of the VPA to the extent to which they are applicable as if a reference in that Act to an "Act" or "instrument" is a reference to the VPA and with such other modifications or adaptations as may be necessary for that governing purpose.
