International Air Shipment. For those shipments to which the Warsaw Convention applies, the person entitled to delivery must notify CEVA of a claim based on loss or damage to the shipment within 7 days of receipt of the cargo, or 14 days if the amended Warsaw Convention applies. Notice of a claim based on delay in shipment must be given within 14 days from the date on which the cargo was placed at that person’s disposal, or 21 days if the amended Warsaw Convention applies. For those shipments to which Montreal Convention 1999 applies, the person entitled to delivery must notify CEVA of a claim based on loss or damage to the shipment within 14 days of receipt of the shipment, or, in the case of delay, within 21 days from the date on which the shipment was placed at the Consignee’s disposal.
