Common use of Internal Posting Clause in Contracts

Internal Posting. Whenever the Employer determines a job vacancy exists in the bargaining unit which needs to be filled, a notice of such opening shall be posted on the bulletin board(s) for seven (7) working days. During this period, anyone wishing to apply for the open position shall do so by signing and dating the posting for that vacancy. In the event a posting occurs during winter, spring or summer recess, the Employer shall mail the posting(s) with the employee’s paycheck or pay stub.
