Interfacing Applications. For each interface, EMKS will verify and validate that the documented interface requirements are accurate and match business expectations. We will support integration testing, which focuses specifically on key interactions and touchpoints between different solutions, devices, and interfaces. We will assist the project team with conducting integrated system testing (IST) and system integration testing (SIT) to IV&V the fulfillment of Florida (IT) IV&V project non-functional requirements. Our IV&V SIT approach includes: • Conducting an assessment on the project’s approved interface control documents (ICDs). • Reviewing interface boxcar, design, and engineering drawings along with the data warehouse designs and cloud infrastructure concepts. • Using the approved ICD to review and decompose the use cases into testable requirements. • Testing each transaction or message type listed in the ICD, including all error responses and messages initiated by the external system. • Reporting all unexpected results to the Customer and participating in bug or defect resolution where appropriate. • Working closely and collaboratively with the Customer’s project and development teams to create end-to-end test cases and test scripts as indicated by our assessments and risk-based analysis. • Reviewing and assisting with test case creations to validate the behavior of the product with respect to interface integration.
