Intent Letter Sample Clauses

Intent Letter. For permanent employees written notice of intent to take disciplinary action shall be served on the affected employee, except as herein after provided at least seven (7) working days prior to the effective date of the action and shall include: (1) A description of the action(s) to be taken and the expected effective date(s)¡ (2) A clear and concise statement of the specific grounds and particular facts upon which the disciplinary action is based¡ (3) A statement that a copy of the materials upon which the action is based is attached or available for inspection upon request¡ and (4) A statement informing the employee of the right to respond either verbally or in writing, to the Department Head prior to the effective date of the disciplinary action(s).
