Common use of Insurers Clause in Contracts

Insurers. The Contractor shall obtain insurance from insurance companies authorized to do business within the state of Washington, with a “Best’s Reports'’ rating of A-, Class VII or better. Any exception must be approved by HCA. Exceptions include placement with a “Surplus Lines” insurer or an insurer with a rating lower than A-, Class VII. Evidence of Coverage: The Contractor shall submit Certificates of Insurance in accord with the Notices section of the General Terms and Conditions, for each coverage required under this Contract upon execution of this Contract. Each Certificate of Insurance shall be executed by a duly authorized representative of each insurer.
