Inquiry. The Complainant or someone on behalf of the Complainant may request from the Manager, Human Resources, information pertaining to their rights, responsibilities, and options to resolve a complaint. As appropriate, the Complainant will be encouraged to ask the Respondent to stop the unwelcome behaviour, comment, or attitudes. The process may stop at this stage or proceed to Step 2 - Informal Complaint in writing, at the request of the Complainant.
