Initial Evaluation Conference. (To take place by the fifth Friday of each school year.) This part of the process offers participants an opportunity to clarify and understand each other's perception of professional expectations, responsibilities, roles, frustrations, and stress. It is a time to establish, collaboratively, goals and objectives, immediate and distant, general and specific, from one or more of the performance domains listed above. A date(s) for an interim conference(s) will also be determined at this meeting. Finally, the basis for the evaluation shall be discussed, e.g., Will it be an observation of a teaching period or some other situation? How often will the contact be? What will be the focus?
