Every effort will be made by the Office of Academic Affairs to recommend for appointment to full-time faculty positions only candidates who meet or exceed established standards for the particular positions, as delineated in the publication “Minimum Qualifications for Full-Time Faculty Positions at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County College". 2. In those exceptional circumstances where a qualified candidate is not available, the successful appointee's initial employment contract will list specific deficiencies, which will need to be corrected by a specified date that can be no later than November 30 of the Fall semester of the final probationary year. Successful completion of these deficiencies will enable the faculty member to become eligible for tenure consideration.
