Individual Leave. Unpaid leave of absences shall be at the discretion of the Employer. Employees seeking such leaves must make advance written request to their supervisor. A request for any such leave shall not be unreasonably denied.
Individual Leave. A Musician desiring a leave of absence will submit a request in writing to management not later than December 31st of each year for the following season. Late requests may be considered. A leave request during the current season made ninety (90) days prior to the leave may be granted by the Centre, however, the Centre shall have the right to deny the request based upon financial or artistic considerations.
Individual Leave a. Individual leave is intended to cover matters which cannot be attended to outside working hours or during vacations. It is further understood that such leave shall not be granted for the day immediately preceding or following a vacation period or holiday. The only exception to the aforementioned restriction will be for registered chaperones on the Senior Mystery Trip scheduled for the Friday before Memorial Day. (If an individual leave day is not used for this event, the employee will not be paid for the holiday.) b. Individual leaves must be prearranged and approved by the Employee’s supervisor. One week advance request for such leave shall be given except in cases of emergency.

Only those employees on an approved list from the Mystery Trip Committee may be granted such leave. b. Individual leaves must be prearranged and approved by the employee’s supervisor. Individual Leave. A non-probationary employee may request an unpaid individual leave of absence. The leave may be granted with the written approval of the employee's Branch/ Department Manager, the appropriate area administrator and the Executive Director. Employees returning from an approved individual leave of more than thirty (30) calendar days shall notify the Human Resources Division of their continued interest in their former position at least seven (7) calendar days before the expiration of the leave. 5. Those employees returning from an approved individual leave of absence of more than thirty (30) calendar days shall be given preference over outside applicants for posted positions in their former job titles for which they apply. Selection for such a posted position is not guaranteed. 6. Accrued holiday and vacation time must be used prior to the effective date of an individual leave of absence in excess of thirty (30) calendar days. 7. If an employee's approved leave of absence was for thirty (30) calendar days or less and if the employee applies for and receives an extension which shall extend the length of the leave to more than thirty (30) calendar days, the employee's position shall not be reserved. 8. After the individual leave has been approved, it shall not be cancelled by the employee without the express written authorization of the Executive Director. 9.
