Common use of Independent Status of the School Clause in Contracts

Independent Status of the School. The School is not and shall not be deemed to be a division or part of The Guild. The relationship between the School and The Guild is based solely on the applicable provisions of the Charter School Act and the terms of this Contract or other written contracts or written agreements between The Guild and the School. Except as otherwise provided in this Contract, The Guild shall have no authority or control over operational, administrative, or financial responsibility for the School.
