Common use of Independent Activities Clause in Contracts

Independent Activities. The Managing General Partner, other General Partners and each Limited Partner may, notwithstanding the existence of this Agreement, engage in whatever activities they desire, whether the same be competitive with the Partnership or otherwise, without having or incurring any obligation to offer any interest in such activities to the Partnership or any party hereto. Neither this Agreement nor any activity undertaken pursuant hereto will prevent any Partner from engaging in such activities, or require any Partner to permit the Partnership or the other Partners participate in any such activities, and each Partner hereby waives, relinquishes, and renounces any such right, claim or participation.
