Increment Withheld. Increments are not considered automatic. A step increment may be withheld by the Superintendent, upon recommendation of the principal, from teachers whom receive an overall unsatisfactory rating on the summative evaluation.
Increment Withheld. 7.7.1 An increment may be withheld by the Council based on an unsatisfactory report. The employee shall be notified in writing and provided with reasons prior to the increment date. An employee may grieve against withholding of his increment and the onus of proof will rest on the Employer.
