INCONSISTENCY AND CONFLICT. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, where any inconsistency or conflict exists between the provisions of this Deed and the provisions of any applicable law (including without limitation the Conveyancing and Property Ordinance and the Trustee Ordinance (Chapter 29 of the Laws of Hong Kong)), the provisions of this Deed shall prevail and such inconsistent or conflicting provisions shall be deemed to be expressly negated or modified hereby provided that none of the foregoing shall be construed as a limitation on the powers of any Receiver.
