In Progress Classes. Per Ed Code §55023, the "IP" symbol may be used only in those courses which normally extend beyond the end of an academic term. In the event that a class with in-person instruction must shut down before the end of the term due to an emergency, the District may choose to employ the IP designation in order to continue and complete the course after the end of the term. a.
